The online Master's Degree course in Pedagogical Sciences is aimed at completion and improvement of the education acquired in the three-year degree courses. Graduates must carry out methodological skills, related to practical skills, such as to ensure a high-level education profile. The course guarantees, based on the proposed disciplinary articulation, a teaching in compliance with the current legislations.
The course is organized in such a way as to actively include educators also in non-academic sectors of lifelong learning. This degree course aims to train educators so as to plan and realize specific educational projects aimed at the balanced development of the personality and global resources of individuals.
They are responsible for taking care of new educational paths aimed at intercultural integration; they actively work and promote study, research and documentation activities; they offer skills to promote the development of an integrated educational process, both with respect to different school levels and between schools and local agencies.
This two-year course offers educational contents and activities that complete the cultural, scientific and professional profile of the expert in human sciences, pedagogy and education, by improving their skills in a thematic sense, methodological and planning way in the educational and educational fields qualifying him/her as a pedagogist.
The specific objectives of this course develop in a disciplinary and interdisciplinary sense the qualifying educational objectives of the degree path, offering diverse proposals for the personalization of individual study plans in compliance with the outgoing professional profiles. It is ensured a wide range of assessment tests aimed at identifying the plurality of skills and enhancing specific features and personal talents, also under a self-assessment perspective.
The study course aimed at achieving the Master's Degree in Pedagogical Sciences (Code LM85) has a duration of two years and aims to allow the completion and enhancement of the educational training acquired in the three-year degree courses.

The conclusion of the Master’s degree course allows to perform roles for which tasks are expected involving a good humanistic culture and high project and management responsibility in the educational and education sectors. The educationalist is an obligatory figure of reference in the multifunctional teams operating both at the public level (school, educational and multi-functional training services) and at the private level, a figure envisaged in the competitions and the public employment staff in the sectors of education, training and education.
The acquired competences contribute to the construction of the profile of the teacher of upper secondary school in the philosophical, psychological, pedagogical-educational and historical disciplines, as well as to further competition courses within the school management and in the service centres for education. The excellent methodological basis offered by the course also allows students to undertake courses aimed at scientific research in universities, particularly in research doctorates, or in other territorial centres in charge of educational research.

Students wishing to enrol in the degree course of Pedagogical Sciences must hold a three-year degree in Education and Training belonging to at least one of the following degree classes:
or in other degree classes, or of another qualification awarded abroad and recognized in Italy or of a four-year degree relative to the current regulations in force before MD 270/2004 provided that they have the following curricular requirements having collected at least 80 ECTS distributed for 40 ECTS on at least 2 sectors of Pedagogy and for the remaining 40 ECTS in the fields of Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy and History and/or Law.
International Study's traineeships are integral part of the student academic curriculum, and are provided as practical activities of the academic record relevant to the completion of the study course. Traineeships may be mandatory or recognized as processes through which students may gain exemptions of credits. The number of credits gained for curricular traineeships is stated in the Standard Study Plans. Traineeship activities are officially recognised through the acknowledgement of credits (1 ECTS = 8 hours). Generally, the working hours are mutually agreed upon between the trainee and the host company, considering the current needs of both parties and the company working hours. Students may undertake the traineeship at any time of the year.
